Pastor's Page Hi! And thanks for stopping by.
The Andover Church family is a vibrant and growing body of believers from all over the northern suburbs of Minneapolis and St. Paul. While my family and I have been serving here since 2002, the Andover Seventh-day Adventist Church has been a significant part of the metro north area for decades! I'm confident that you won't find a friendlier or more genuine group of Christians with which to learn and grow, so be sure to come by and check us out in person.
So that you can learn about some of our unique characteristics and strengths, I've used this Pastor's Page to share a little bit about our:
I know I speak for all of our members when I say "We'd love to hear from you!" so please contact us with your questions and feedback. Thanks, too, for taking time to learn about us here. It is my prayer that God will help you discover His inexhaustible love for you and unique purpose for your life.
Trusting in Him,

Pastor Dave

Team Structure
describes our strategy for organizing our entire ministry into a system of highly-defined, interconnected and mutually supportive small groups
As you read this, the Andover church is in the midst of a reorganization process involving the careful redefining and restructuring of our ministries in order to better work together in service for God. We believe that by distributing our ministries across the entire body of the church, letting each one do their part, we can better represent the true Body of Christ and better serve Jesus, our head.
Andover is redefining our structure at every level as a leader together with four teammates working together as a functional unit. This is also true at the highest level, where our church is organized into four basic quadrants.
| Leadership |
To equip the local church body for the service of Christ by maintaining organizational health and providing visionary leadership with integrity. |
| Friendship |
To win people’s confidence for Christ by ministering to them through purposeful interaction. |
| Discipleship |
To guide others in a transforming relationship with Jesus, empowering them to teach and serve for God. |
| Worship |
To engage the whole person in a deeply meaningful and spiritual encounter with God through personal testimony, study of the Word, prayer and praise. |
| Stewardship |
To facilitate efficient, Biblical use of each member's resources as they sacrificially invest their possessions and property in service for the Kingdom |
More about each of these unique areas of ministry will be available soon, so check back often. Our Friendship and Discipleship teams have each developed a detailed Team Handbook for their ministries, so if you'd like more information, please contact us.
